Who we are

Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina is the dream made real of Edoardo Fioravanti, Manuele Giovanelli and Zeno Fioravanti. With their passion for wines and the traditions of winemaking they created a place where they can share that passion with others.

The shelves of the Enoteca are lined with small production, high-end wines that are hand selected to meet their ridged standards.

Focusing on small production, handcrafted Tuscana wines, only the best producers make the cut, often little known and family owned wineries.

Tastings

The Wine Tasting Dinner is a custom, educational and unforgettable experience for any wine lover, from the expert to the novice. An extensive selection of high-end, small production white and red wines accompanied by a tasting of Tuscan specialties prepared by chef Marzia Sassetti.

During The Wine Tasting Dinner you will be guided by one of the Enoteca’s owners/sommeliers through the history and culture of the wines produced within Italy.

The cost of The Wine Tasting Dinner is 65 euro per person. Reservations are required, based on availability and should be made directly through the Enoteca. Tastings are conducted in English or Italian and last approximately three hours.

The menu consists of traditional and also modern Italian cuisine made from fresh, local ingredients.

Hours, location & reservations

Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina is open daily from 1pm to Midnight.

Reservations are not required for casual tastings although they are recommended for dining and are required for The Wine Tasting Dinner.

The Enoteca is located in front of the Pitti Palace, near the Ponte Vecchio in the historic Oltrarno quarter of Florence’s city center.
